About the event
Setting sail from Plymouth aboard a Cornish lugger bound for the Isles of Scilly is the equivalent for a sailor as to embark on a voyage in search for Utopia. The illusion of the Isles of Scilly have often played strange games with sailors minds!
The 80 nautical miles passage is not without demands and includes night sailing and watch keeping, possibly better suited for proficent sailors. However we have chosen a time of year which usually features mild weather therefore people with no experience but with a love for adventure are also welcome!
Our objective goes further than the pleasure of cruising; we strive to share knowledge and goods. We desire to build significant human connections and gain insights from this stunning group of islands on the Atlantic Ocean's edge and their extraordinary residents.
