The Ibis experience

Sailing on this Historic 1929 Cornish Lugger

Sailing on Ibis is a unique and authentic adventure! The Ibis experience offers a deep dive into maritime history and a hands-on approach to sailing, where people can truly immerse themselves in the old-world charm of a 1929 Cornish Lugger. It's about more than just being on a boat—it's about working as a crew, sharing moments of fatigue and triumph, and  becoming in tune with the sea and nature.

No previous experience is required. Ibis professional crew will lead you and teach you seamanship skills. The joy of sailing is that we always learn more, regardless of our age or experience, it is a never-ending life learning curve which we embrace and revel in it.

Ibis offers the opportunity of joining a community of like-minded sailors and adventurers. You too, can contribute to slow food transport with ultra-low carbon emissions, and immerse yourself in the rich culture of the sea and vibrant foreign food markets.
